The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces “brought back” the local arts and crafts festival tradition to Piedmont Park in 2011.  This event “knocks it out of the park” for local painters, potters, and hand crafters!  Not a typical fine arts show, this one is for local crafters and the people in our community including our neighbors and friends to “show off” at their favorite park.   The best way to describe it is Inman Park meets Yellow Daisy, meets Indie Craft, meets Buckhead Arts Festival, complete with arts, crafts, a children’s area, and local foods and beverages.  And watch out for some surprises, like last year’s “Flash Mob!”See More

AFFPS announces Chastain Park Summer Movie Series The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, which produces the on the Chastain Park Arts Festival and Festival on Ponce, among others, will host the Chastain Park Summer Movie series every Thursday night in July. The movies will be screened at sunset on the hilltop meadow just off Park Drive in historic Chastain Park.
